Honestly the worst acrylic nails I have ever had and the worst nail shop experience I have ever had. Will not be returning.
I was booked in for acrylic removal and a full set of acrylic with shellac and shellac on my toes. Appointment was for 6:20pm. I arrived at 6:10pm and did not leave until 10pm. yes, 10 o'clock at night. Why on earth did it take virtually 4 hours to do something that would usually take 2 hours at a maximum? It was only myself and the woman doing my nails in the salon. The woman was nice enough, but very unprofessional. She persistently answered personal phone calls throughout my treatment. She even answered a phone call from a “psychic” agency that she works for whereby she put the phone on loud speaker whilst this woman ranted about her life to her. I honestly can’t believe it, my whole experience was just horrifically bizarre. I explained that I had somewhere to be when the night was getting late and she made out like she was doing me the favour as her boyfriend kept ringing asking where she was.
As for the nails, they are honestly just awful. The extension tips are not even glued to my nail properly, there were huge gaps between my nail and the extension tips whilst I was in the salon, they were lifting before I had even got home. The acrylic is thick, chunky and horrendously uneven. The shellac never set properly and it has all bubbles, lumps, nail file debris etc.. I honestly question if the woman is even a qualified nail technician, she really didn’t look like she knew what she was doing. She kept putting the shellac on, wiping off with a tissue, re applying over and over. As for my toes, there are gaps all at the side that are missing shellac polish where she did not pay attention when applying.
I’m honestly so mortified with the treatment and experience I received, I will be going through process of getting a refund through Treatwell for both of my treatments and if that fails I will be requesting a refund through PayPal goods and services.
the cluster eyelash extensions fell out the next day however the singles have lasted.
