It was a cash only place - I wasn't told about this prior to arriving (not mentioned during the booking). The salon itself felt dirty - many surfaces were covered in 'nail dust' - for lack of a better word, the dust that is created while filing nails. Obviously the dust is made constantly, but some things (like the tables, internet router) seemed like they weren't wiped for a long time. The choise of colours was massive, yet 3/4 of the polishes were out of date, the bottle was epmty and what was left was to thick and old to be used. The manicure: I rate it two stars because in the end, I wouldn't have done it better myself. However, my cuticles were softened by water only - no additional softening gel (OPI makes an excellent one) that would help the process. The lady was pulling my cuticles instead of cutting them out, it hurt and was not successful. I had to point out places where the cuticles were still untouched multiple times. I got two layers of a dark colour, and thus there are lighter, see-through patches. I asked for a third layer but got it only on two nails where the patches were extremely visible. I got asked to wash my hands at the sink, where there were two nail brushes so old covered in fungus it was really unpleasant. Hopefully they are not used. Pedicure - better than manicure for sure. Unfortunately, at one point I was given re-used and dirty flip flops to wear while the lady would paint my toes. I declined and received a new pair, which I appreciate. I know this is a harsh review but for me there are a lot of things to improve.
