My appt was at 5.35 but wasn’t seen till 6, and they didn’t know I was coming. The salon was busy, and therefore quite cramped. The person was rushing my nails and smudged my thumbs when putting my hand into machine which I was told to be careful for(there’s now a big line on my thumb nail). The colour is much more fluorescent than the colour given - not my style at all - and is quite thin, so looks blotchy. There’s definitely a lack of attention to detail (big clumps of varnish at the start of the nail, doesn’t go to the edges) looks okay from far away but not up close. I had to go home and file off bits of nail that hadn’t been filed off properly at the start.
Overall really disappointing. This was my first time getting shellac and I expected a relaxed experience. I walked away almost wanting to turn back round to get them taken off and I’m a bit embarrassed about them (but maybe that’s what you get for £20?). Wouldn’t be going back any time soon.
