Shocking. I went into the salon with light brown hair and had previously told the woman I wanted my hair dyed blonde. She said this was possible and bleached my hair, and dyed it telling me it was going to be white blonde. My hair came out a yellow colour and the hairdresser admitted it didn’t look how it was supposed to and asked what they should do to fix it, and I said to dye it a darker blonde which they said was possible. They then proceeded to dye my hair the exact shade of brown it was when I walked into the salon that morning (after 5 hours of faffing about), and then when I said I wasn’t willing to pay full price as my hair was not what I asked for and looked the same as before I’d gone, they told me I couldn’t have any kind of discount and charged me £80 for my hair to look the same as it did when I got there but in worse condition, as opposed to the previously agreed price of £57 for my hair to look the way I intended. Absolutely ridiculous for a company to pretend to be unaware of their own mistakes and to charge full price for work they know was not what was asked for. Especially as a student with little money I am disgraced by their lack of respect to their own clients.
