I spent a considerable amount of time searching for a salon as I'm quite particular, when I came across The Lion and The Fox I thought it sounded and looked great (the pics and official website) so decided to book this salon after roughly a week of searching online. Unfortunately the whole experience was not what I had hoped for and have to rate it only 3 stars. I deducted one star because I was seen 25 minutes late, which normally wouldn't bother me but it did on this occasion because I had booked the appointment for 6pm however without any notice or consultation my appointment was changed to 5pm (not sure if this was down to Treatwell or the salon but luckily my manager was flexible to let me leave work early so I didn't contest this time change) which is why I was not very pleased to be seen almost half an hour late as I had to leave work early so that I arrived before 5pm.
I deducted another star off because although initially I thought the result looked acceptable, after a few days I had to trim one side myself as it was a little imbalanced on one side.

Amy is a fantastic hairdresser and she cut my hair beautifully. She also gave a lovely head massage during the conditioning treatment.

My second visit here, with the same stylist. Nice lengthy discussion of ideas for my hair, followed by a relaxing hair wash and massage. Even changed the music to something more ambient as I was feeling so rubbish. My haircut is fabulous as always.
