I bought a package for a Brazilian + upper lip IPL hair removal, am in my fourth treatment now and have seen absolutely no change. I have very thick black hair on white skin, and have done laser and IPL on other parts of my body before, so I know that I am primed for great results - however none of that has shown with TLC Group. I will try today to ask for my money back and stop the treatment.
Having the results that I want would have made all the other issues completely bearable - such as the staff always being surprised when I walk through the door and asking me if I have an appointment, or saying that they tried to reach me to confirm the appointment but couldn't (only for me to realise they had read my phone number wrong from their own hand-written note under my appointment). Or saying they were not sure if I could make it, even though I have shown up on time to every single one of my appointments so far. To clarify - I have never been denied service on these grounds, but it is a bit annoying.
Then there were issues with the machine they use 3 out of the 5 times I have been there (yes I went more times than my treatments because the machine wasn't working when I went for my patch test).
They finally bought a computer to manage their clients' accounts at the Hampstead location before my latest treatment, and continue having trouble accepting cards because their POS terminal cannot get signal in the basement, where their office and clinic is located. I had to pay for my package cash - several hundred pounds.
Kudos to staff for being super careful about explaining the dangers of burns and sun exposure and all the rest, but if these risks prevent your beauticians from achieving good results on your clients, there is no use.
Room for improvement on a customer service level. Successful treatment with an acceptable result.
Whitening consists of 3x15 minute laser treatments with solution application before each.

So so.. Wahanda's appointment times didn't match up with their actual opening hours so there were quite a number of reschedules before I made it. Be sure to call and check your appointment has been recieved.
It doesn't fill you with confidence when staff are having to read the instructions moments before your treatment. That said the treatment was a success and no adverse reactions to report.

Today i was so happy to see the owner ,she was so caring and has done the treatment that i never had before. She is very experienced and covered the areas so well. I left this plac for the first time a lot happer than before , considering that i have been regular , so i am sure i will see a good result this time and my money that i have invested ,well worth to spent
Andrea has been an extremely informative and friendly member of staff. She is always very welcoming and is keen to provide an excellent service. I would highly recommend her to others.
