I Love Lucy.
This is my second Keratin blow dry which has saved me countless days of frizzy hair in all weathers.
Lucy has salvaged my own attempts of cutting my own fringe with the kitchen scissors and the dog clippers.
Thankfully, I always leave Lucy looking put together; which is NOT how I look walking in.
Apart from Lucy who is old school, disciplined and self aware, I have witnessed one of the barbers who was on his phone for an hour outside the salon asking his 1 walk in client to wait while he popped to Waitrose to buy their lunch, when he got back he asked the client to wait again while he ate the lunch. Time management not a skill there.
Also I think it was a beautician complain loudly about a booking, stomping around and asking loudly who booked that client in? Not professional at all.
It occurred to me that when there was 1 barber with a queue of 3 clients on the sofa, why didn't the ladies hairstylist step up and take a client? I'm sure barbering is its own skill but they lost a client who just walked out fed up of the long wait. The hairstylist could have had a client and they could have had a grateful customer.
In my 2 hour appointment I witnessed this disorganisation, Lord only knows how they can keep the salon ticking over. If I was running it, stern words would have been had.
I go there for Lucy, not the barbers.
I will not be using the beautician any time soon.
