I visited the Holistic clinic as a birthday treat and was struggling with period pains when I arrived. My period pains are very persistent and usually very difficult to shift but I had a hot stone massage and when I left I did not have any pain at all and felt like I was walking on air. Mary was very professional, friendly and informative and also did some extra balancing work with me at the end which was great too. I would thoroughly recommend Mary and this treatment - thank you!

Mary is a wonderful person and great reflexologist. The treatment is fantastic and if you have any stress going in it’s all gone by the time you leave. I highly recommend the reflexology treatment and when my sister is visiting from Sweden I always give her a voucher to visit Mary!

My appointment at the The Holistic Clinic started with an initial consultation (i.e. past health history), what my expectations were and an explanation of the treatment, what it would entail etc. This was very useful as I had never heard of Bowen therapy.
The consultant was recommended via a good friend, as I had been suffering from persistent acute back pains (mainly upper shoulder) for a few years and frozen shoulder, with restricted movement and extremely debilitating pain. This was previously treated with conventional cortisone (steriod) injection. The ultrasound guided injection was not only very painful but only provided temporary relief and did not help with the movement of my arm, which still remained very restricted and extremely painful.
The Bowen therapy helped regain movement of my frozen shoulder & released the pain around my upper back. The Bowen Therapy is used through the whole body not just the problem areas, although the consultant concerntrates on the affected areas for optimal release. It was the most unsual experience as the treatment is very gentle and after treatment you feel as if you have had physiotherapy treatment without the pain. You feel totally relaxed and realigned. The consultant, does not only treat the symptoms but you also receive an all round holistic approach, dealing with mind & energy (which I believe works in harmony with the Bowen Therapy).
I will be booking further appointments and absolutely recommend The Holistic Clinic.
