Love my perm took a good few weeks to train and a LOT OF PRODUCT as explained at the consultation did panic a bit but changing from keratin to a perm was something I’d been thinking about for a while. Sorayah was very thorough with the consultation, I was also given an aftercare sheet which explained how to maintain my perm. Ready to embrace my curly girl era thank you Xx
I always have a great experience, Soraya is very nice and informative giveing me guidance on how to look after my hair after. I’ve had braids, treatments, all sorts over the years in this salon and always left impressed by the service and quality. Highly recommend!
I never usually write reviews but I had an awful experience at this salon when I went for an Afro curly perm. The treatment completely ruined my hair causing my hair to fall out in clumps. The stylist (who happens to be the salon owner) left the product on for far too long because she was juggling multiple clients at the same time, and as a result, my hair was over-processed. This is not even just unprofessional (given the prices that she charges), but is highly negligible. It’s now breaking, visibly damaged, and has left me feeling so upset about my appearance.
Unlike other salons, where consultations involve a proper examination of your hair’s suitability for the treatment, this stylist charges £10 for a “consultation” for what turned out to be just a chat, and during the consultation it seemed like she didn’t want to be there. No strand test was carried out to assess how my hair would react to the chemicals, which is a basic step to avoid damage.
I contacted the salon to raise the issue, but I’ve had no proper resolution or even an apology, so I have had no choice but to take this to solicitors. I trusted them to handle my hair professionally, and the salon owner (Soraya) failed completely. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone, especially for treatments like this. Absolutely appalling service.
I have added photos of how my hair used to look prior to the treatment with this salon, and after. My hair is falling out and there are bald patches, and I would really hate this to happen to anyone else.
The team here are so friendly and the salon has a really nice atmosphere.
This was my son’s first experience at a salon and I couldn’t recommend higher.
