Unsurprisingly to the salon, this won't be a good review. After a lengthy and confusing consultation with a stylist who couldn't communicate in English at all, she went ahead and covered my entire head in bleach after I requested a root touch-up.
After the (lovely) receptionist found me hours later, in floods of tears, alone in a room I had sat in for an hour and a half, with bright white hair and burning scalp... and the stylist had finished calling me 'rude' after I asked to see a colour chart of what she was aiming for, I was booked in for the next day.
I had to take an entire day off work (which cost me even more money) as my hair was so shocking, and reluctantly returned for another session at the salon, where they attempted to correct the previous day's errors.
I was offered absolutely no compensation and in fact have still paid in full for the service which cost me over 8 hours in time, money and considerable distress.
The owner only offered me '30% off next time' as if, in any universe, that was likely to happen and he seemed to make his staff on edge, it was even used as one of the reasons fed to me as to why my initial stylish bleached my head.
The stylist who fixed my hair and the salon manager were lovely and did their best, but I am very confused why they're letting someone with limited language skills carry out consultations (and dare call their visibly distressed customers rude) as if it's ever going to end well.
The salon admitted to me their had been a serious error and I shouldn't have had anything done in the first place, yet offered no type of refund to me.
Seems like a place for men's haircuts and perhaps should only be allowing senior staff members to use colour if they continue doing so.
Never before have I had such a traumatising experience in a salon. If they would like to extend an apology in the form of a refund to partially make up what I have lost financially, I would welcome it greatly.

I cannot recommend this more highly! The tan colour is gorgeous and it was so hilarious, they all made me feel so comfortable even though I was totally naked. Really great people!
