First time ever I had a microdermabrasion. The lady was very professionnal and friendly, and she did a very good job. I have a very smooth skin now with a nice glow. I will definitely come back.
I wish the pores extraction was deeper, but she did not use any magnifying glass so she did not see the tiny blackheads I have all over the face. But anyway i am happy with the result.
The therapists were pleasant and the treatments weren't bad. The Brazilian wax was incomplete and when I got home I found lots of missed patches on my legs. I do think the salon needs a designated area to do manicures and pedicures as currently the room they use seems to double up as a waiting room, consultation room where clients fill out paperwork and a staff rest room where the staff have their food etc. It was a bit weird having my pedicure next to the open doorway and having people constantly going up and down and new clients coming in to wait for their treatments. A male client even sat right next to me and was asked to use my seating as a desk to fill out his forms, while I was getting my feet massaged- it was just a bit odd and intrusive and probably a bit awkward for him. When I asked whether he couldn't have filled out the forms in his room, apparently it was in case there was something on the form that contraindicated his treatment and so he would have to come back down again. Doubt that walking down a few steps is a big deal, furthermore the forms ask a lot of questions about health and past medical history which if discussed should be in confidence in a private one-to-one setting anyway.
I do think the pedicure was good, although the massage was barely half a minute long and probably not the best value for money considering the makeshift nature of the salon. Salon was also quite cold.
