I was left with a blister due to burn from wax that was too hot.
I told the therapist that the wax was too hot, she dismissed my concerns as normal. I didn’t want to argue as I was in a vulnerable position.
One time the wax was so hot that I was in so much pain after it went on - it just didn’t feel right. I raised my concerns but the therapist assured me it was normal. I’ve had the procedure done before and I knew it wasn’t normal. I was in pain after I left and now on the second day I have a blister. I had asked for ice cubes after the treatment which she didn’t provide. You sign a disclaimer before the treatment so that should have been a red flag as to their customer service. Never going back.

Pedicure was professionally done and I was happy with the results. The spa is still under construction so it wasn’t very relaxing. Also the pedicure chairs are uncomfortable.

Firstly, George was excellent - easily 5 stars. I had a deep tissue massage and it was great. He knew what he was talking about, and could vary the pressure to really get into the knots on my back but at the same time provide a well rounded massage, which is exactly what I wanted. Overall, he listened, gave advice accordingly and I'll come back - overwhelmingly because of this treatment by George.
Secondly, the girl in reception was also terrific, polite, friendly and helpful.
In terms of the facilities, they're ok. I would have preferred a disposable cover over a pillow on which I rest my face - but perhaps they change the covers between each session...
