Upon arrival I was asked for my name, which I gave and was asked to take a seat. It was raining outside and quite cold, I was not offered tea or coffee but saw a person next to me had been given a cup of tea. I was put off by this as surely all customers, old or new should be treated with the same welcoming gestures.
I was on time for my appointment but they were late attending to me, it was almost twenty minutes before I was seen and I was asked twice for my name and what treatment I was getting which I found rather embarrassing to say in front of the other people in the small waiting area. I was also asked to fill out some forms 15 minutes into me waiting past my appointment time, surely this should have been asked of me has soon as I had come in instead of wasting more of my appointment time.
I was booked in for a colonic with a person named Susan, she asked me a couple of questions and seemed ok, I did feel like I was being spoken at rather than spoken to but I was a little apprehensive about having my first colonic there so I wasn’t too bothered.
I was relieved that the toilet was in the same room has the procedure being done, the room was fine, a little cold but bearable.
I found the colonic itself to be disappointing, I asked how many litres of water would be used and I was told 13, there was not a lot to show for at all and I had more success with a coffee enema I’ve had done previously.
One of the things that I was very unhappy about was how roughly the tube was pulled out of me and how the person doing my colonic kept moving the tube up and down, this was making me feel uncomfortable in that area.
At the end of the colonic she did say for me to take my time coming downstairs which I was relieved about not being rushed out, and has soon as I came down I was given a glass of water and a probiotic which I thought was a good thing.
