I’ve had microdermabrasion session at this place before with a different beautician and thought it was a good value but the second time round, I had a different beautician who decided to crank up the strength of the dermabrasion kit which felt really harsh during the session. I figured it would do my skin good by removing all the dead layers but when I saw myself in the mirror post session, my face looked as if it was badly scratched by a cat. I’d pointed out how scarily red and scratched up my face looked but the beautician simply dismissed it saying the redness would disappear after a few hours. However, after a few hours, my skin looked even redder than before with all the streaks visibly marked across my cheeks, forehead and chin. My skin looked so much better prior to the session and I’m worried that this session might’ve damaged my skin. Won’t be returning to this place.
