Overall nice visit, but for my deep tissue massage I would expect a bit more pressure
The spa treatments were absolutely amazing, can’t fault them at all. It was by far the best part of the day and probably the only stress free part. The facilities in terms of swimming pool were more like a hotel than a spa and that reflected in the changing rooms. The afternoon tea is where we had our issue, I had to explain I had a dairy allergy four times and they still brought out a selection of sandwiches and cakes that contained dairy more than three times. I was even offered a cheese sandwich as an apology.... By the time our food came it was 50minutes late and we had about five minutes until our treatments. There was no real apology, they just explained that the restaurant was separate to the spa and that they would have a word. When we arrived they also didn’t really know anything about our booking, we’d already paid and were asked to pay three times and kept getting sent in between the hotel and spa reception.
