When I arrived they didn't have my booking registered. However the lady on reception very quickly sorted it and arranged the appointment for me which I thought was great. They were only able to do waxing, not the threading but that was still great.
Facial Threading
It was my first visit to this Chiswick Health and Wellness Spa. Its based above the chemist so look out for that as the entrance is from the side not main road. I bought package of massage, facial and manicure. Lovely big salon with loads of treatment rooms, stuff very friendly. I was very happy with the treatment, massage was very good so as facial. The therapist that i was looked after called Mummy, i would highly recommend her, very good at her job. Will be going back again soon.
I received a voucher for a massage at this centre as a birthday present, but as I was about to leave for my holidays, I asked if it would be at all possible to use the voucher for a waxing treatment instead. They happily accommodated my request, which I thought was very gracious of them. The salon is lovely and the staff are absolutely impeccable. Great customer service. The treatment was also top notch, they used a different wax than what I was used to - it was bright red instead of the usual yellowish colour. It was the least painful bikini wax I had ever! The only downside for me is their price list, their treatments are quite expensive - however, I can honestly say they are worth the price!
The aromatherapy massage at Jurlique is a reasonably priced treatment for this often pricey part of London. The spa itself is tastefully decorated and very welcoming. The massage oil was picked especially for me after an initial consultation about what I wanted to get out of my session. My therapist applied a lovely lemony scented aromatic oil to my body as she worked through the tensions in my muscles. My legs especially appreciated the massage, as I'd been doing a lot of walking.
I was well looked after either side of my treatment, and was given plenty of time to recover my faculties before leaving! I had an excellent night's sleep afterwards, and felt much calmer the following day.
I had the detox massage which was done using a lovely lemony-smelling warm oil, to flush out toxins in the system. I was in pure bliss every second, and felt very relaxed and cleansed afterwards. A perfect way to assuage your guilt if you've been a bit naughty :)
