My massage and hot stone treatment at the spa was amazing, the therapist was very skilled and worked at knots in my back and shoulders while still making the experience very relaxing. The steam room and sauna were good and the staff everywhere we went were helpful, friendly and welcoming. My only criticism would be that the quality of the food for the afternoon tea were not quite so good. Also I recorded that my daughter had a nut allergy but think that one of the cakes on her tray had nuts in

Spa itself is a little dated. Changing room : Showers in changing room kept turning off every 10 seconds. Hair in changing rooms. Not enough cubicles in changing room to get changed in. Room got quite hot, too hot to dry hair. Restaurant is lovely! Decor is great, food is very good.

We offer a wonderful range of relaxing treatments to local residents and hotel guests and are located just a few minutes’ walk to the town centre and the beach.

The Cottage by Bluewater Spa is located within the grounds of The Connaught Hotel. Offering a variety of indulgent treatments for up to two people in each room, including massages, facials, scrubs and wraps from our experienced spa team.

Bluewater Spa incorporates four additional treatment rooms (including two doubles). Spa day guests can enjoy full use of the hotel facilities; from the 18m indoor pool, spa pool, sauna, steam room, gym and relaxation lounge, to the relaxing gin bar, brasserie and courtyard spaces.

Please note that we will require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or amendments to your booking, cancellations made after this time will be charged in full.
