Enjoyed my stay at the Chilworth even though we did encounter a few problems at the beginning. When we called from room service, wanting to ask a general question, a member of staff hung up on us, then later denied so when we called again. But knew exactly what the conversation from before was about and obviously had the same voice! Everyone thing else was lovely we had a lovely time during the spa the staff there was exeptional and we enjoyed our breakfast and afternoon tea.
Took my mum here for an afternoon tea, spa and massage. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was luxurious and very tasty and we both left feeling so so relaxed.
Firstly, the Chilworth Paddington spa is TINY. There is a small jacuzzi (holds about x3 people maximum) and a steam room. Other than that, there is nothing else. No lockers were available with a key … so if something was stolen (luckily it wasn’t) it was completely out of our hands. There is only 2 changing rooms, one for a man and one for a woman. The massage was Mediocre… not the best massage I’ve had. I won’t be returning and although it may seem cheaper from the outset, go somewhere nicer.
Our massage times were changed, but we were upgraded for that.
Breakfast was wonderful, club room was spacious and we had a lovely stay. Massage therapists were really great & experienced.
Only downside is spa area is quite small. Only 2 locker rooms, one for men and one for woman and one unisex toilet/shower room. Spa area refurbishment to make it bigger.
Overall, lovely stay
