The ‘spa’ was a small jacuzzi that couldn’t fit half the guests who were there. Everything else was broken. The massage was ok but I’ve had quite a few massages and this was the least impressive - had to keep giving direction / asking for increase in pressure despite it being deep tissue. The afternoon tea afterwards was the only bit we really enjoyed
The Chilworth is a small boutique hotel, the spa area is compact. It's a shame we were not advised beforehand that the steam room was out of order and that you only had the first hour to use the jacuzzi. The massage was excellent, I didn't want it to stop. The afternoon tea was good despite a confusion about the type of afternoon tea we were having, Joy the manager was very accommodating. I would definitely go back there.
The only issue really was the size of the spa facilities and we had to share with anyone from staying at the hotel so the area was crowded.
Only 1 very small private shower .
