The locker rooms were very small and many lockers didn’t have keys. The steam room didn’t work. The massage was advertised as 1h but it was actually 50 minutes. I asked for a deep tissue massage, but it wasn’t deep tissue.
Treatment by Double Room
I was very disappointed. Firstly, after booking, I was called to say that my treatment time had been double-booked and would need to be moved. Then I got a call to say my treatment day was on 13 October which was incorrect as I had booked for 13 November. I contacted the spa to advise them them they had it wrong, which they acknowledged, but I then got a text and email after still confirming October. At the spa there were no robes and the steam room was out of order. Overall extremely poor.
Treatment by Single Room
The massage was incredible. The rest of the experience was nothing short of a disaster. I was served leftovers for afternoon tea as the spa had forgotten to book me in with the restaurant, service in the restaurant was dire which is probably why apart from me there wasn’t a single diner inside. The spa itself was OK, grotty in some areas though. I got stuck using the spa with a couple who insisted on talking at the tops of their voices, arguing and continuously taking photographs and filming
