There’s is no actual spa at the chilworth. It’s just one hot tub, and the steam room or sauna is out of order. There is one toilet, and two small change rooms with lockers. Literally not a spa by any stretch of the imagination. Just a heads up for anyone expecting a spa experience. The massage was good, but not worth the price I paid for a “spa”.
Changed our time from attending 12 to 10am causing a 6am start. The ‘spa’ was nothing but a horrible which has grime all in the tiles. One communal shower to use next to a toilet, sanitary bin full of dirty tampons/pads which needed emptying. 2 changing rooms and the lockers didn’t lock. 6 people were in the same small place ‘the spa’ with others commenting on how tight the space way. Massage was good, afternoon tea was the smallest I’ve had but the waiter was very polite.
The treatment was really well done. Lovely facilities and very sweet lady who took care of me. Calming sounds of water and music and the lights were deemed to deliver a thorough massage with good level of pressure and expertise. The spa itself was not amazing to be honest. There is only a jacuzzi and steam room (but that was out of order). However the lovely staff made up for it and offered me and my friend Prosecco to make up for the out of order steam room for us to sip on whilst in jacuzzi.
Amazing! I was so relaxed that i left my necklace in the treatment room. Shortly after leaving the spa i have received a call from the staff letting me know and they have brought it to me as I was enjoying the afternoon tea. I am so grateful as it was a gift from my best friend that means so much to me. Highly recommended!
