Shugar’s philosophy and vision at The Chelsea Spa are to provide a memorable experience for her clients that mirror the philosophy, expertise, and standard of the spa. Her expertise lie in facials, and believes helping a client’s skin to get the results desired is one of the best parts of her job and the aspect she is most passionate about, she states “…I do not simply give my clients their treatments, the moment I touch a client’s skin, I can sense very quickly the needs that they may require, I like to work on both body and soul which go hand in hand. I believe this to be very important, particularly in this day and age with daily demands and our fast-paced lives.” Shugar is an advocate of beauty therapy, in terms of its important ability to enhance an individual’s sense of calm, wellness and confidence, and believes spa treatments have an essential place in our lives due to the therapeutic qualities provided.

Mala is an enthusiastic and experienced beauty therapist. Her expertise is on tailor made Bespoke treatments which meet individual client’s needs. Her clients say she is “Simply magical” and “Perfectionist”. She is an all rounder. She came from Bangladesh to fulfill her dream to become a beauty therapist. After qualifying from Chichester College she started working in the UK’s beauty industry from 2009. Her Masters of Business qualification made her a successful entrepreneur alongside with her excellent Beauty therapist career. She believes “Every human being is beautiful, they need to know and look after themselves to flourish their inner beauty”. That is the job she is doing as a beauty therapist to explain, treat and prescribe the perfect form of treatment and products for every client. Mala says “I work from my heart through my hands and don’t work only on the client’s skin, I try to understand the cause and explain to the client so that my treatment cures not only from the surface but also from inside”. Her clients followed her from one salon to another throughout these years, they said place doesn’t matter as long as Mala does the treatment. She is currently studying Psychology to design unique treatments which suit the client’s mind, body and soul.

Tara, originally from Nepal came to London in 2006. Before coming to England Tara resided in Hong Kong for 10 years, where she studied and Qualified Beauty Therapist (CIBTAC) Confederation of International Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology. She is an entrepreneur and Beauty Therapist with many years of experience. She has developed passion for the world of holistic Beauty and aesthetic techniques. Tara is proactive in continuously updating her knowledge and skills. Her expertises on customising treatment for her client. She enjoys talking openly with her client to understand their motivations and desired results and to define the tailored plan that best suits their unique needs. Tara has started her career as a professional Beauty Therapist within a Luxury Spa and Boutique salon, where her clients were very high profile and some of the clients still follow her from very first place to until now. So having those loyal clients and working with all different places as a head Therapist to Manager position , she then gained all sorts of skills to become an entrepreneur since 2012.
