Perfect-and I am a fussy client!!
There were 5 of us, all females, 2 of them who are therapists. We shall definitely be returning....not sure I need to say more, however, I will! The afternoon tea was scrummy, which followed an amazing reflexology session, with hot stones, very relaxing and different. I would always check how many people they will be having that day as the only time it might not be quite as good is if they had 10 people in, if they weren't all of your friends!
It was immaculate, intimate and just great, the perfect spot if you want to celebrate a special birthday with friends, the huge benefit being you can hire it exclusively, and the hot tub outside was sumptious, even though we only live in Harrogate, we thought an overnighter might be fun!!
Excellent relaxing day out. My partner and I took a walk around and through Wetherby prior to the spa and it was just the tonic for our aching feet. Loved the Japanese baths - brought back wonderful onsen memories. Ideal location.
New faciliites, lovely relaxation room, sauna and steam room. Outside hot tub fabulous and warm enough even on a cool day. Beautician excellent, didn't talk if you didn't want to and checked she had the pressure right for the massage. Changing rooms and shower area small, and if more than 4 there would feel crowded. We ordered some food to be delivered to the spa area which saved geting fully dressed which was good. But we were disappointed by the size of the portions - over £5 for 2 small pieces of bread with goats cheese on. Overall we had a very pleasant time, the deal was excellent value and we would recommend it. Just hope they don't overbook people in. Hotel is easy to find and lots of car parking.
Just been on the spa day deal today - one word... 'wonderful'!!
Grace welcomed us to the spa & provided flip flops, towel & robe and locker key. You are also given the option to set up a tab so you can order food and drink throughout the day.
The decor is lovely and modern throughout. Once changed we went to the outside hot tub which was great! Then upstairs to the Sauna / Steam Room and foot spas. We then tried the relaxation room which was 4 rattan style beds - really comfy and there is a terrace just outside. Bubbly and strawberries were served here and very much welcomed.
After another few rounds of hot tubbing and steaming we were ready for afternoon tea - this was a choice of sandwiches and the most delicious scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam (we were informed they were home made by the chef) just a shame we didn't get any drinks (I assumed tea/coffe was included but none came so made do with the iced water / iced tea which is free). Outside is another courtyard within a walled area - lovely just to sit out and enjoy the October sun!
I would definately recommend this spa - a lovely relaxing day.
