My appointment at The Brazilian Hot Wax Co is everything a beauty treatment should be! It's located in central London, but away from the hustle & bustle of Oxford Street. The building is nice enough, but the waxing rooms were clean, relaxed and nicely decorated.
I was met by Melissa who was very friendly and welcoming. It was my first professional wax (holywood) but Melissa made sure the whole appointment was very laid back. I was suprised by how little pain was involved, particularly compared to my own attempts to wax (won't make that mistake again!). Throughout the process she explained that they make their own hot wax and gave me some detailed tips on how to get the best results from waxing and ensure I had full aftercare instructions. She even gave me a natural loofah to exfoliate with (from 1 week after my appointment).
I was given a loyalty card afterwards and told when to come in next for best results if I wanted to come back.
Overall I was thoroughly pleased with everything; Melissa was great, the results were perfect and I was left feeling relaxed (who knew that could happen from waxing?!). I'll definitely be returning to The Brazilian Hot Wax Co.
Hollywood Waxing
Cannot recommend this place enough. It is in the middle of soho, in a very good location. The wax is very good for sensitive skin. The girls always do a great job.

As ever perfect job by Melissa. Go there every month to have my waxing done. This place is very nice and in a perfect location.

The whole point of an online booking system is to allow working women in central go for last minute appointments on their lunch break. I arrived and was looked up and down by all staff like I was a bizarre intruder- all because my booking had not yet reached them [had a confirmation email and order reference number on my phone] So quite a dismissive start. I have had salon waxes for 10 years and never have I been made to feel so uncomfortable by disparaging comments by a beauty therapist. It was extremely painful. Large sections of my upper inner leg were missed [bikini wax] and i was told I'd have to pay extra- !? Never in my life has a salon missed this area. So for 36 quid I thought this was a real joke. Will never come here again. Pay the same or Less for the full job and somewhere friendlier.
Brazilian Waxing
This is a very god wax, considering how reasonable it I. It is relatively no frills but the staff a very friendly and very good at what they do.
