Disaster...
I have known this salon for a long time and I never experienced something of this kind... There is a new hairdresser since Jade, the owner, went on maternity leave.
The new hairdresser seemed confused on my arrival and I think she was expecting just a wash and a blow dry instead of a haircut although this was booked in advance via Treatwell. I think she had another client coming at 3:30 so she cut my hair and let her apprentice to style my hair which took a bit longer than expected and the outcome was far from what I would expect from this place. My hair was flat and straight whereas I was clearly asking for a bouncy look. To be honest I was in a rush so wasn’t bothered with checking the outcome which was my mistake. The apprentice was too distracted dealing with another client’s kid to focus on what she was doing.
I went away for Christmas soon after the visit and it wasn’t till I styled my hair by myself and looked through a second mirror at the back of my head to notice that my hair was cut wrong... I asked for a straight cut with no layers and instead I got uneven layers which were sticking out in all possible directions!!! Terrible haircut impossible to style... I am going to see someone else to get it fixed. Never coming back to this place which is a shame because they were doing so well. I feel sorry for Jade because she is a great stylist but leaving her salon in hands of incompetent staff is far from ideal.

I booked a full leg wax with Sophie and when I arrived she took me to room which was dirty and messy and told me to sit on a table with a dirty towel with wax and hair,I've asked if she could put a protection layer and so she did. The waxing process was messy and wax was everywhere she didn't look like she cared too much. She had to pull multiple times one strip bc it wouldn't come off and it is painful. I thought I found a place near my home I could come regularly but I won't be coming back.
