Average wax, wasn’t painless despite all the reviews saying so and the venue’s own claim, but that’s a wax for you I guess, though the Hollywood hurt a little less than other places I’ve been, the strip wax for the legs was just as painful.
Rated 3 stars as she missed quite a few bits but did fit in extras that I hadn’t booked in advance, which were done well.
I pointed out a few of the missed strips while I was in the room and Nadia was happy to finish the job, which is good, but I didn’t get to have a proper look everywhere until I was home, and had to finish it off with self wax strips myself.
At a couple points she left the room still wearing her gloves and didn’t change them before doing a Hollywood wax, which didn’t seem that hygienic.
I did also tick that I didn’t want my phone number to be used for the salon to contact me, and I have been getting text updates so I’m not happy about that.
It’s a shame really as Nadia herself was lovely, and I was hoping for a good experience to find a new wax place but I won’t be going back
