!The first time I had experienced a Hollywood wax, I was slightly nervous but after the treatment will definitely be going back - the hot wax reduces the pain and Ilona was super professional, offering a great service, with an eye to detail - I left with no hair in tact!
Nice clean tiny little salon - a little walk from Leytonstone high Road. I had a manicure & pedicure before going to a friends wedding reception.
I usually go to a salon where they are very fast & can do lots of people at once but I had heard good things about this salon so I thought I'd try it. It's worth noting that at this salon they only have 1 manicure table & 1 pedicure chair - and they don't do a mani/pedi at the same time. I had booked the treatments at the same time when i rang up as I was short on time (although the therapist argued that I didnt) and after my manicure (which took 1 hour) I realised I was really running late. - I asked if I could come back & have the pedicure next week as I had to go - but was told by another therapist that I would forfeit my appt / voucher & have to pay again as they have a 48 hour cancellation policy. I didn't want to lose my money so my therapist worked very quickly to get my pedicure done - and they kindly gave me flip flops to go home in (even though I was wearing sandals) However I was late going to my wedding reception as a result - and my pedicure smudged as it hadn't dried properly :(
In summary. They are very fastidious in their work - my manicure & pedicure was actually very good. But if you are short of time this really isn't the place for you. You will need to allow 1 hour for a manicure, another hour for a pedicure , and about another 3 hours to allow the pedicure to dry properly. Also they have a strict 48 hour cancellation policy or you will have to pay full amount which seems very extreme & inflexible.
Very happy with my treatment and haircut! Can still feel the treatment working a month later! It was a very professional experience and I would not hesitate to go back
