Booked a cut and blow dry with top stylist. Lovely little salon on Leytonstone High Road. Stylist was friendly and understood that my mixed/ straightened/ afro-hair needed to be cut dry without my having to suggest. Had a nice head massage and hair wash and good blow dry. Did her best to get rid of the damaged/ wispy shorter ends in the back without losing the overall length as I asked. Would have prefered serum to mouse for the blowdry but am happy to try different techniques and will just specify next time. There will be a next time as I was very happy with the value of this cut. It took the full alloted time of 75 minutes.
