As always a lovely experience at Champneys with my therapist. We chat all the way through which takes the pain away! I always come back here time and time again!
I go to Champneys regularly and my Husband wanted me to have a nice massage so booked with them. The therapist was lovely, the massage was excellent. The only problem was that I was put in a room which is next to lane in St Albans and because I went around rush hour it was very busy and noisy. There were also builders drilling outside. Of course this isn't the fault of the salon but they have so many rooms (I go to the downstairs rooms for waxing) which are quiet, personally I thought a massage should be performed in a quieter room. If I had been waxed in this room, I wouldn't have cared less but massage is supposed to be relaxing and I ended up concentrating more on the noise outside. Also, you lie on a massage table which has the hole for your head and all I could see were plugs, wires and dust. Again, nothing major but you don't expect this from Champneys.
As always, love it here. The girls are lovely, the treatment rooms are air-conditioned which is a bonus when you are hot and having a bikini wax! Had a different therapist this time as Laura has left. Hollie was lovely, we chatted throughout and she was very quick which I like because I get bored with this treatment. Booked to have a full body massage this week which I am really looking forward to. So glad they use Wahanda as I book all my treatments through here.
As always, an excellent experience with Champneys. Their hot wax is brilliant and much to my delight, the room was fully air conditioned which was amazing in this heat! Lauren who waxes me was a joy as she always is. Will go back time and again!
Very nice atmosphere and a lovely building to go into. My therapist was lovely, she helped me relaxed and chatted away whilst being waxed which is always nice as waxing can be uncomfortable and awkward. Re-booked to go back! thank you
