I visited Beauty Box two weeks before this appointment, for a gel nails manicure. The colour was amazing, and I was really happy with the finish. The lady who did my manicure pointed out that my nails were getting weak and flaky on account of them being under gel for 3 months, so suggested the next time I come I have them taken off for a rest.
So this is what I did for this visit. My gels were removed, nails filed down and buffed into a neat shape and then treated with a protein formula. I also bought a little bottle to take apply each day myself. My nails already look much healthier after 2 days, and I'm looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks for a new gel manicure.
