I cannot emphasise enough just how satisfied I am with Pooja’s service and ambience at The Beauty Bar. It was my first time receiving a full body and Hollywood wax, and though I was nervous at first, Pooja put me at ease within seconds of entering her wonderful salon. I was greeted warmly like her own daughter and felt very relaxed and taken care of. Pooja ever so kindly offered me refreshments upon entry and that’s when I knew this was no ordinary salon, and Pooja no ordinary woman. I have visited salons before where beauticians try to finish the treatments in as little time as possible, rush you and don’t give you the tenderness and patience required. Pooja, on the other hand, really gave me the time to feel at ease if I was in pain and made it a laughing experience! Pooja even goes out of her way to ask if we would like any music to be playing in the background and I truly made me feel at home. I was free to use the bathroom in between my waxing and as a female only salon, there was privacy. Once my waxing was complete, Pooja asked me to check if I felt any areas needed to be refined; something most beauticians looked over! I felt so honoured to be a client of hers and feel blessed that my first Hollywood was with a woman as kind and graceful as her. Pooja has a solid knowledge of which treatments and waxed are ideal for different skin types and recommends only what she truly feels is ethical and healthy. The most valuable thing about The Beauty Bar is the love Pooja puts into her work and the soothing energy you are engulfed in. I have committed myself to The Beauty Bar as a lifetime client and will highly recommend Pooja to everyone I interact with. Thank you for this experience Pooja, and hopefully many more to come!
