It was a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Our meal was top notch and amazing value, as was our breakfast.
The spa treatments were lovely, the chocolate back massage was great. When booking I thought the spa was next to the hotel, this may have put me off when booking, however the great staff and lovely hotel made up for this, it was also nice to have a look around Darlington. I would definitely come back in the future!!

I booked this spa break 4 days prior to going and wasn't expecting too much, however it completely exceeded expectations. I cannot fault the whole package we received. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The spa facilities were all amazing and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Just absolutely perfect. Thank you bannatynes!
We spent one night at this lovely hotel on December 30th 2015. We really could not fault it. We chose a spa deal and were not disappointed. All staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful - very clean and lovely attention to detail. We had a very enjoyable trip to the spa and both enjoyed our treatments. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. We look forward to coming back!
The only thing that made this experience less than excellent was that mine and my friends treatments ended up being split up due to staff being off sick so instead of us getting to enjoy the spa facilities (the Jacuzzi, relaxation room etc.) together, we had to do it separately which took away from the experience some what. Other than that the treatments were good and I thought it was excellent value for money. I thought you might be restricted with the menu due to being there on a deal but the range of options was good and food was excellent. Would definitely go again.
