I title this- TIMING IS EVERYTHING
"You're an Hour late!! We have had to reschedule other clients because of you!!" Said the lady at the desk.
I use to go to TN a lot when I was working in the Cheshire Area.
Teya, was the therapist I used to see. Fantastic woman! A good laugh and made you feel so comfortable and welcome and above all RELAXED!
Recently I have undergone surgery on my arm- I have moved jobs- dealt with a loss of a friend...all before the Christmas period.
Finally, I thought, 2 weeks of no work calls- emails- miserable people.
A day just about me.
I was booked in for my usual Deep Tissue massage- of which I hadn't had in a long time!- I was looking forward it.
But, as some of you can relate the Christmas traffic and the parking and the crowds.
As I am ploughing though the town of frantic shoppers. I called the salon to inform them. Of course I wouldn't call whilst I'm driving. But I called.
When I arrived- I felt like the shit had hit the fan. Like I was late for a shift or something on my old restaurant job back when I was 16!
I was greeted with a bollockin'- and not in the humorous sense- more like your mother has caught you sneaking out of the house when your suppose to be grounded, Bollockin' (I haven't felt like that in 15 years)
I thought to myself as I walked in- well this place looks a little different- and the woman shouting at me I have never met before. I questioned whether or not I had walked into the right place.
As I'm ushered into the therapy room feeling like I'm about to sat down with the boss.
I couldn't help but feel upset- I was In two minds whether or not just walk out and say "stuff your massage!" But as a libra I see two sides to everything and I believe in letting things balance out.
In came the therapist- young and new- there it is again-
"She was an Hour late!!" Shouting all over the salon!
I may as well have had a big sign on my head when I came out of my massage as 'the dick who was late for her appointment'
-I did not feel the slightest relaxed.
- I was not asked if my medical history had changed.
-I was not made welcome, as a paying client.
-I could hear every word you said through the thin walls of your room extensions.
Heaven for bid if I booked my usual Hollywood wax- you'd have ripped my genitals off and told the rest of the world the bald eagle in the room 2 was late for her appointment!
Ask yourself have you every been late before?
I was more than happy to wait or to have even rescheduled if it was such a big deal.
Worst returning experience.
Well done on expanding business and increasing your clientele- just remember to maintain your standards and customer satisfaction levels.
It would have been nice if you had asked how I was doing after the massage or to have seen if I was alright when I sat down in front of you in the waiting area.
I had high blood pressure and felt quite nauseous.
I also wished you a merry Christmas.
No response. Not even a smile.
A shame really. Because I never shouted at you.
Thank you Utai and team for a totally relaxing massage as I prepare for Christmas Day. All presents wrapped, cards listed weeks ago and menu for the day is sorted. Am ready to tackle the food shopping tomorrow.
Same again booked for next month.
