I booked a "super stress relief" treatment as a treat for my girlfriend who has been very stressed with work lately. But when we showed up they said they hadn't corfimed the booking even though I have a confirmation email. They said something about it not being prepaid and "sometimes" non prepaid booking don't come through. They asked us to come back later, but we had plans that we were hesitant to change. We expected them to offer a goodwill gesture for ruining what was supposed to be a nice afternoon for my girlfriend but they did nothing. So we asked for a discount ourselves because of the inconvenience of having to change our plans. However they refused based on the fact that they could see it was an already discounted treatment. Firstly, them messing up is what should trigger a goodwill gesture, and it has nothing to do with whether or not the original booking was discounted. Secondly this clearly means that the booking actually did feature in their system, how else could they have known. Which means they were lying about the booking not appearing. Completely unacceptable behavior in my opinion and we decide to cancel the booking all together. Not very super or stress relieving experience to say the least.
