"You get what you pay for", I should have known. I chose Thai Studio as it is really close to my work. I had overtrained for a week and, being extremely stiff, needed a deep tissue massage. I was greeted by the owner that immediately asked if I wanted to extend my half hour appointment to an hour for only £15 more. To her disappointment I was not interested. The was actual massage was sloppy, random and to my distaste started with the masseuse stepping on me with her feet ensuring no precision at all. The deep tissue wasn't deep at all but rather an oily mess. I was again asked if I wanted to extend my appointment—really? I left with the same stiffness. The massage was nit even balanced i.e. the masseuse only worked my right leg but not the left. The massage ended with awkward random punches on my back and that when I accidentally laughed. I am unaware if more services are implied but I was surely not interested and thus, as a deep tissue massage, it was far disappointing.
