Pros: therapist was very good at the deep tissue / Thai massage. She had great pressure and I especially liked that she climbed into my back to really crack it into place. The rooms were inviting and relaxing. I was offered a fresh ginger tea at the end.
Cons: I could hear a man and woman talking very loudly outside the room for the first part of the massage and then the man walked into the room, bearing in mind I was almost naked this wasn't great for my relaxation levels!
I had told the therapist I wanted her to concentrate on my shoulders and neck area but I just got the standard massage where each section of the body gets the same amount of time. I left with a few knots still in my shoulders.

Lovely staff. The spa looked beautiful and relaxing. I had a Elena’s facial, which I usually have. It was clear that the therapist was not as experienced as I was used to. The facial felt rushed and she kept leaving the room to get things she needed, which took away from the relaxing facial experience.

This was both my first massage and the first time I had visited Thai Spa Boutique. Unfortunately some renovations were taking place during my visit so the massage wasn't exactly as peaceful as it could have been due to the noise and the builders talking outside the treatment room, but the masseuse was very warm and accommodating and did ask them to keep it down!
The massage itself was relaxing and the masseuse is clearly very skilled. I did experience quite a lot of aches and pains in my shoulders the next couple of days due to the pressure she exerted across this area, but it was enjoyable in all other areas - I guess just a lesson learnt for the future that 'medium' pressure is too intense for me on the shoulders!
