This was my second visit to Thai London Therapy. I had a different therapist this time (Mikki) and she too was brilliant. Mikki was incredibly proficient and thorough. She touched base with me from time to time during the massage to make sure I was alright with the pressure as it was a deep tissue massage and therefore very strong. She was receptive to feedback during the treatment when I guided her to the problem points and duly shifted her focus to addressed these points as we went. After the massage and over the next day or two, I did feel soreness in the back and shoulder muscles that had been intensively worked on, however this is to be expected from a good deep tissue massage. In the days after that, I felt great - the massage had markedly alleviated the tension and aches that been plaguing me in these areas. Overall, I highly recommend this place; the therapists are excellent.
The treatment was good and the therapist took time and a lot of care to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. She also offered me a glass of water after and gave me the time to dress in my own slow pace :) I have initially thought this included extraction which it did not but I got an amazing face massage which really relaxed me. Girls there are friendly and provide star quality treatments in reasonable prices.
It was my second time at Thai London Therapy Marylebone. All staff were very welcoming and friendly as always. Everything went smoothly - the place is well organised. My therapist asked me how strong I wanted the massage and the pressure was excellent. The therapist concentrated on my upper and back which was exactly what I needed.
Fantastic massage and if I lived in London I would go there every week. Don't let the front of the building or the fact you have to go through a gym put you off as once you get in, the place transported you to another world. I went with my sister and we had the best hour and massage ever -and we have had a lot. The staff were so professional and experienced and we loved every minute of it. Anyone going to London should book a massage at this place as I know you will love it. I can't rave enough about it - just go. Just a suggestion if you go from the centre of London get the 189 bus which will drop you just opposite the building.
The entrance to the spa is a bit dodgy - you have to walk down an alley and through a gym - but once you get inside it's quite nice! The receptionist was very friendly and polite, and the therapist as well. I had to wait a few minutes for my room/massage therapist to be ready, but they assured me I would get the full hour, which I did. As for the massage itself - it was great! I had purchased a deep tissue massage online, but the therapist offered me a choice of procedures when I got there, so I went for a bit of each (deep tissue, Thai, Swedish, and hot stone) to find what I liked. The hot stone bit was amazing! I could hear the goings-on in the corridor outside the room I was in, but it didn't bother me. Overall a good massage, nice therapist and environment - I'd recommend this place.
