Lovely staff and great wax. However, they did ask for a cash payment up front and as a first time customer I was a bit worried but the treatment was great. Would come here again.
I booked a quick 15 min chair pick-me-up massage as a mid-week treat and would rate the overall experience as average. My appointment started a little late, which wasn't too much of an issue, but the chair was simply placed in the middle of the main waiting area rather than in a separate room, meaning you were sitting there when people came out of the other treatment rooms - not exactly relaxing or comfortable! The massage itself was good - the masseuse was really skilled and asked me about any problem areas, and the pressure was strong, and as my back is often very tense, it needs a decent amount of pressure, so this was helpful. The only problem was that upon leaving, I realised that I'd actually only received 11 mins of the 15 min massage. Now, four minutes is only four minutes, but when you've paid for 15 minutes you've essentially lost a third of your time in that short period! I had got the massage for a bargain price as I had a voucher so wasn't too annoyed, and had already half left the premises at the time, so couldn't be bothered bringing it up - but nevertheless it was disappointing, as you should get what you pay for, and if time cannot be kept, a timer should be used. Overall, while the massage technique itself was good, the overall experience felt very rushed, and I can't say I'd recommend this particular treatment at the spa.
Nothing fancy about the salon. It is quite small but they do the best massages here. The ladies maybe small but they are strong and can really work on the knots. No one works on my shoulders as good as they do here. Good if you sit all day on the computer as your neck and shoulders really get knotted!
Went in for a couples massage. Been there twice now and loved it both times. Left feeling completely relaxed and super unwilling to walk back to the tube station ... :)
