Worst massage ever! I wish I could give no stars. I have been going for Thai massages for the past 3 years (and over 20 visits at this particular venue!!!). Clearly the therapist didn't care about losing valuable customers.
Right at the start I told her my right calf muscle was very tense and hurting for the last couple of days. I asked her to go easy on it, medium pressure everywhere else. She went so hard with her knuckles on my calf that I cried out of pain. I thought maybe she forgot what I said, so I repeated my request to go softer on just that one part of my leg. Her response: "If you can't handle a little bit of pain, go for Swedish massage". In shock by such rudeness, I tried to reply that I in fact enjoy traditional Thai massage and I don't need advice on where to go. She said: "You like Thai? Ok, I'll show you Thai!" and used such force on my leg that I thought I was about to pass out from pain. I didn't want to "complain" again and be told where to go so I tried to keep quiet until it was unbearable (this was still the leg that was in pain even without touching it!). I cried out and the therapist triumphantly said: "See, you can't handle the pain! Go for Swedish massage!" I complained to the venue but they ignored my complaint. I will find a place where I am treated like a customer, not a nuisance. Rude, unprofessional therapist who did physical damage to me - can't believe I paid for the privilege! Thank you for all the previous Thai massages, but this was unacceptable and I won't be coming back.
