I arrived and was greeted with a drink of water (tea was also offered) and shown into my tratment room. The therapist was very professional and thorough, working through knot after knot in my posterior chain (back, shoulders and neck, hamstrings). The first few minutes included asking where to focus, anybinjuries she needed to be aware of, desired pressure etc. before exploring where the most tension lay. This was followed by walking on my back, glutes and hamstrings. Then the deep tissue massage began in earnest. As stated above, this was very thorough, using oil, elbows, palms and hands. I was warned I might feel sore afterwards, which I did, but also a lot looser than before the treatment. I’d definitely visit again.
