I took my daughter to the texture to have her hair cut and styled by Erin. Firstly the shop is beautiful. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was so chill. My daughter struggles in new places but Erin spoke to her about her curly hair routine, how she styled it and what she wanted that day which put her at ease. All I can say is Erin knew her stuff. Erin was talented, knowledgeable about curly hair, extremely skilled and made my daughter experience there amazing!

You can notice the difference straight away, if you have an afro then this is the barber you want. Especially if you want your hairline to be done well and not walk away with a new forehead.

I didn't want to open just another hair salon or barbershop. I wanted to create a space where everyone feels catered to, understood and welcome. After years of working behind the chair, travelling, training and meeting people with completely different hair needs, I realised there was something missing — a space missing in Edinburgh that brings specialist curly hair stylist, barbering and genuine community together under one roof. 🫶🏽
