A very relaxing day . My daughter said the massage was the best she had ever had. I agree.The lunch was very tasty . Altogether a very nice experience and good value for money.
Great hotel and the food was brilliant- spa was a but disappointing unfortunately - could do with updating.
I have been to many spas and have no hesitation in recommending The Oxfordshire. This spa had all that I consider basic essentials - clean, inviting, well maintained steam and sauna rooms. However the little extras achieve my "excellent" category such as heated massage bed, lemon and lime flavoured water (kept constantly topped up), very warm throughout making it pleasurable to relax and lounge around. (Even fell asleep by the pool!). A calm and tranquil oasis, made even more so at dusk when we were delighted to see one of the staff put little ambient lamps out around the pool. So lovely, we ended up staying for 8 hours!
Absolutely perfect! Staff, spa facilities, treatment rooms - all 5*. Could not fault one thing! Definitely recommended. We stayed overnight too and the hotel was beautiful as was the food quality and restaurant.
