When I came to Gem around 9 months ago I had just had a horrible experience with too much bleaching and consequent severe hair breakage. I'd been to other places that just very quickly said they couldn't help me until my hair grew out a lot. Gem spent a lot of time testing my hair, thinking with me about a plan and giving me lots of advice, not just about extensions but about hair care generally. I took that advice and now I have just had the extensions taken out because my hair is in such good condition and has grown so much that I have enough to get it cut in a style that really suits me. If you want a technician who will put in extensions whatever the cost and not care that you end up as one of the online horror stories with bald patches or thinning hair, then don't come here. Gem is honest even if that means she doesn't get your business. Her home salon is immaculate and a really pleasant, relaxed environment, plus she's super friendly and kinda funny. :) She helped me through a difficult time (I know we're not supposed to care that much about our hair - but hey) and I can't recommend her enough. Thankyou again Gem.x
