Salon seemed unclean and untidy. I phoned ahead as I was running ten minutes late, then had to wait another ten minutes in the salon for the therapist to arrive. I booked a hot wax but the therapist changed over to strip wax mid way through which was painful. The therapist used her phone during treatment without washing hands. I didn’t get as thorough a wax as I normally liked but decided to leave due to the hygiene concerns and painful strip wax.
Had a short massage and alternative therapy - so difficult to rate the massage. The other cupping therapy was carried out well, with good explanation of what I would experience and the benefits.
Very nice and approachable staff.
If like me you have worked out that blowing a load of cash signing up for the gym in January is a waste of money then you could try Maggie at the Victoria Spa.
I have been a regular since 2016 when her Chinese back pain Doctor spotted that I had a slipped disc!
Today I gave my skin a chance for the first time with a very energetic body scrub. It’s as close to cosmetic treatments .
So i will be back- ho ho- for these treatment as well as my regular cupping.
Nice friendly staff, my nails were done immediately, I didn’t have to wait. Only slight issue is that she put the gel topcoat on quite thick and I felt it stick to my skin around my nails. And then the day after I easily picked a strip of the gel off my nail because of this. For £20 I might go back though.
