I’ve always been very happy with the treatments I’ve had at this salon but the last time I was here, most things about how my hair after was treated left me questioning whether I should’ve even gone in the first place and whether my hair is actually now damaged. The colouring is good for the price and the technician was lovely as a person. However, I have come away with a haircut that looks nothing like the reference photo I brought to my appointment. I have medium length hair and wanted very subtle layers to give my hair a little more shape and have come away with what I can only describe as heavy, inconsistent and chunky layering. This was disguised by the fact my hair was curled after it was cut, but when I realised I was devastated as I’ve lost years worth of hair growth and it will take months for it to even get to a point where I am not having to hide how much has been chopped off the top layers. Parts of my hair, even since washing it, actually smell burnt too. Absolutely gutted.
