Tarik was away so I booked with Alex on recommendation from the salon: they were extremely inflexible. I spent over 3h in the salon which is longer than any toning treatment I have ever done. I have never had a stylist have to tone my hair twice to get the right shade. He was complaining about my previous colouring job and even asked me if I got henna in it (comment felt racially motivated as I am south Asian). Blow dry was beyond average and feels dry because of how much it was shampooed.

From the moment I stepped into the salon to when I left I can honestly say I will never go to another place ever again! All the staff including Tariq and Alex were amazing they were professional throughout and seriously understand the science behind hair extremely talented artists. I’ve embraced my silver fox look lol and I had the pleasure of meeting other clients who I will be keeping in touch with what an amazing experience - magical atmosphere throughly recommend! Now after three decades behind the chair, he brings his experience to share it with us at TAJ Hair Studio. Alex is known for his spectacular haircut techniques including styling and blow-drying all hair types.
