Really nice venue and relaxing massage. It wasn't firm enough for me despite asking for it to be so and I felt she was really fishing for a tip at the end and leaving became quite awkward.
I have been going to Ying Thai massage for about two years for Shellac Manicure and in my opinion the standard of professionalism has taken a total nose dive in the past couple of weeks. There has been almost a complete changeover in all staff, which is fine in most circumstances however the new staff have absolutely no sense of customer service whatsoever. When I sat down in the nail chair the lady gave me about 10 seconds to review the colour wheel before snatching one of my hands and starting the manicure. When I said I needed another minute to choose my colour she insisted on grabbing my hand and beginning filing, before even asking me what shape I wanted. I had to look through the colour wheel with one hand which was cumbersome and I felt very rushed. Throughout the whole manicure an older lady stood over my table loudly eating a banana and speaking in Thai to my technician. They acted as if I weren't even in the room or that I was an inconvenience interrupting their conversation. A real shame that it was such a bad customer experience as the salon is very well priced, super convenient and the standard of work is very good for the price. Sadly I'd rather pay a couple more pounds and not feel rushed in my purchase and to be made feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer.
I've been here a few times and always get a good manicure, it's never rushed and they last a good couple of weeks. I used to get my nails done here a lot but they recently put the price up by £4 which is a big price hike in one go.
