I had the first pedi appt of the day. I was a little early but had to wait for staff member to clean out the sink before I could place my feet in it. That should have been done at the end of the previous day IMO. Pedi and mani were done well. No chipping and my gel pedi lasted my entire 4 week holiday. Salon was a bit cold, heating could have gone on (December!) but I may return if I'm in the area.
When I arrived the salon was empty and all of the staff were chatting in the pedicure area, it was difficult to get someone’s attention, nobody seemed to want to do my appointment. The salon filled up quickly though and soon became quite hectic with customers waiting everywhere. It was quite a stressful environment. The beautician who did my nails was nice, very quiet, but she took an hour and a half to do refills and gel, making lots of mistakes and having to correct them. Finally when it came to choosing my colour they had run out of all pale pink colours and so after trying a few out and feeling very rushed, I’ve ended up with a colour I don’t really like. Shame - this salon used to be great, food quality and value. Now it feels like the staff are overworked and the standard has dropped.
