What a wonderful surprise to find such a fantastic place! A piece of Thailand and Thai hospitality in the middle of London. The staff were so polite and helpful and the Thai massage I had was probably one of the best ones I've ever had. Loved the ginger tea that I was offered after the treatment! Can't recommend this place enough for a relaxing treat.
I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage. On arrival, I was warmly greeted and asked to remove my shoes so that my feet could be washed before my massage started, which was a great start. The massage itself was fantastic. My therapist asked me if I had any particular problem areas, and how much pressure I liked before the massage started, which I really appreciated. The massage started with Thai massage stretching before moving on to the deep tissue massage, where a combination of oil and tiger balm was used. My therapist was not afraid to go deep, but kept checking that I was comfortable with the pressure used. She was very kind and had a lovely sense of humour! At times ithe massage was momentarily painful, howeverI feel so much better afterwards! I was offered a choice of ginger tea or water at the end, which was a lovely touch and helped me gently come back to the real world. Ying Thai is a clean and nicely decorated venue, with professional and welcoming staff, and I really recommend it.
I was a little late but I wasn't made to rush. There was no one straight after me so the massage went on for over an hour. I felt that they really wanted to make sure I had a good massage and weren't just thinking of time. This is now my regular spot to get a deep tissue massage
