The space is really nice and atmospheric and the music good for a spa. However, there was a lot of noise from the reception and people coming in and go. I went for an Aromatherapy massage but it was too hard for me, so I asked for the girl to be more delicate as for Aromatherapy you'd expect a relaxing one; also they only used one type of oil, whereas aromatherapy is supposed to be a blend of aromas.
The thai massage was very good and good value for money. However, it wasn't overly relaxing because the walls are thin and you can hear other people's conversation. If only it had better atmosphere it would really be a great experience.
This is a wonderful small salon in central London doing the most amazing thai massages - I had the 90 minute combination massage and left feeling de-knotted and loose. The salon is warm, welcoming and relaxing and the staff were friendly. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a firm and therapeutic massage - which are very hard to find in my experience - a real gem!
(I would add that I do like my massages to be firm so this review is based on that being my preference)
I've been to Ying Thai before and loved their massage so this time decided to try out a facial treatment - it was good but I think that their massages are better so will probably be sticking to these in future.
Overall I would highly recommend Ying Thai especially for massages and if you enjoy a good, firm massage style!
